in case you haven't been paying attention to my obsessions, we now have one week until syndicated Buffy premieres on FX, beginning, appropriately, at the beginning of season one with "Welcome to the Hellmouth" (and just before that, the film "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" with Kristy Swanson, Dylon McKay, Pee-wee Herman and Deputy Dewey will be shown. you don't need to see the movie version to get into the series. the series makes a couple of brief references to a couple of things from the movie, mainly to explain why Buffy is now in Sunnydale, but otherwise, no previous experience required).

if you're like me, and you missed the first few seasons of BTVS, here's your chance to make it up. if you've never watched before, you can start at the beginning (but, whatever you do, DON'T miss the season 6 premiere on UPN on October 2).
