i shared the email mentioned in the last post because i thought it could be a humorous thing, but really, i can't tell you how much my head aches to think that the company has hired, as our PR manager, the guy who was responsible for promoting the XFL. i know it's unfair to judge him on that when he actually has much more experience (with MLB, MLS, and the NFL, along with "Soccer Digest Magazine") and because the XFL did have a big media blitz (i don't know how good the ads were since i instinctively ignore anything football related). i'm too pessimistic, and the recent lack of job security is influencing the horrible sinking feeling i have about this company.
