ok, a bit more Buffy:

when she walks up and grabs that guy's newspaper from him, why doesn't he jump up and whoop her ass? at least, he could have said something more than "Um, yeah, hi, i'm kinda reading that."

it seems to me that Buffy is losing her moral compass. she stole that guy's paper. it was rude, and wrong. she's becoming evil! newspaper theft is just the beginning. Faith #2.
