there's been lots of uproar among fans about Tara's death on Buffy. entire posting boards are filled with nothing but profanity, invectives and promises never to watch any Joss Whedon show again, all because, they claim, Joss is a terrible man who is obviously homophobic and misogynistic, and he fulfilled the Hollywood cliche of the lesbian death and tragedy and anger, or something like that. many articles have been written on Joss' evilness, and most of them point to the Celluloid Closet for their evidence of the lesbian-death-and-evil thing.

i disagree with all that, and finally, someone has responded well to the Lesbian-Killing Evil-Joss talk.
