Variety reports that Halle Berry has signed on to star in the studio's remake of the '74 classic Pam Grier blaxploitation flick "Foxy Brown"

this isn't right. it's gonna turn into something Shaft-like or Charlie's Angels-like. the feel will be all wrong. it may be an enjoyable movie (i like seeing women kick ass), but i just don't think it'll be Foxy enough. or it may turn out to be just right and my love of '70s Pam Grier will be quelled. we'll see.
