also, ice cream is no longer the "soften the blow" food. guess they got tired of treating people right before they escorted them out. now, it's "congratulation, you're still employed" food. they gave us our choice of root beer float ice cream bars (blech) or those orange sherbet push pop things (yum!)

what's the proper length of time to mourn our newly jobless former co-workers before we raid their now vacated cubicles for supplies?
